The Stevedores - Thunderdome

Green grass, clean air,
lean ass the last fertile soil.
They got trees, got non-toxic breezes,
but that's just how life is.

There's life outside this city
and it only gets prettier the further you get
from all these humans.
Just drive for a couple of nights,
in one general direction I reckon you'll see.

You'll learn this one on your own son,
when you're bored and grown.
What goes on just goes on,
and keeps on going on.

There's life outside this city
and it only gets prettier the further you get
from all these humans.
Just drive for a couple of nights,
in one general direction I reckon you'll see.

You'll learn this one by your lonesome,
when you're dumb and grown.
What goes on must go on,
beyond thunderdome.

The grass is always greener,
the air is cleaner, the ass is lean
beyond the wasteland
I don't know how to find her,
but I know that in time she will find those who wander.
So we wander.

So here's to all the ties we've tied,
and those we've tied too tight we'll set aside.
Tonight we toast our enemies,
and friends, and strangers, and families.
Tonight we drink to gratitude.
